    Full-Time MA-Level Study Coordinator & Clinician Position

The Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is looking for a full-time Master’s level study coordinator and clinician. This individual will primarily work with the principal investigator (Stephen Becker, PhD) on projects funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the Institute of Education Sciences (IES). The studies use a prospective longitudinal design to examine sluggish cognitive tempo symptoms as a predictor of internalizing outcomes (depression, anxiety, suicidality), as well as academic and social functioning. Using a developmental psychopathology framework, the studies incorporate physiological assessment, behavioral tasks, academic achievement testing, and school records, in addition to information collected from adolescents, parents, and teachers.

We are looking for an individual with previous clinical training (e.g., Master’s in clinical or counseling psychology) who will be trained to conduct diagnostic and self-injurious interviews. The individual will also work with the investigators to manage the study, including participating in study activities including recruitment, scheduling, assessments (including IQ and achievement testing and physiological assessment), data management, regulatory documentation, and oversight of undergraduate research assistants. The right person will demonstrate a high level of initiative and independence, flexibility, and have experience in research coordinator activities. A minimum of two-year commitment is required, with opportunity for additional years of employment. Applicants of diverse and underrepresented backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center No. 3 in the nation in the 2020-2021 list of the best children’s hospitals. Established in 2005, the Center for ADHD at Cincinnati Children’s is one of the largest centers in the country devoted entirely to improving the care of children and adolescents with ADHD and related conditions (http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/c/adhd/default/).

If you are interested in applying for this position please send an e-mail with a cover letter and CV (subject line: Study Coordinator and Clinician Position) to Stephen Becker, Ph.D., at stephen.becker@cchmc.org
