We are recruiting for a full time research assistant (RA) at Brown University on a new study, “Distinct Steroid Mechanisms of Menstrual Cycle Effects on Psychopathology” that examines how the menstrual cycle affects borderline personality disorder and related symptom expression in adult ovulating people. PI is Jessica Peters, PhD.
The ideal candidate will have at least a BA/BS in Psychology or a related field, as well as research experience (preferably including working with IRBs, participant recruitment and running participants, and data management; bonus if they have experience with behavior tasks, bio specimen collection, and/or REDCap or similar data collection tools like Qualtrics). Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential. Start date is flexible, ideally later in the fall, remote work is not an option. Providence is a wonderful quirky little city (great food, beaches, art, etc), and Brown has a large and thriving Psychiatry Department.
